Kuala Lumpur, 12th July 2022 – Qew Group Berhad (QGB) hosted a Signing Ceremony to formalize the acquisition of a 600-acre iron ore mining and production venture in Bukit Besi, Terengganu. The event took place at Tamu Hotel and Suites in Kuala Lumpur.
Through the Corporate Strategic Program (CSP), QGB successfully entered into a strategic joint venture for iron ore mining and production on the aforementioned land. The mining site is situated in Bukit Besi, specifically in Mukim Jerangau, Dungun District, Terengganu.
With the iron ore market witnessing high demand and prices, Qew Group anticipates promising prospects for its mining operations. The proceeds from this venture will be allocated to domestic construction projects like the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL). Additionally, the produced ore will be exported, targeting buyers both locally and internationally.
