Satellite Development Initiative
As part of our commitment to strengthening the nation’s technology and communication ecosystem, QEW Communications Sdn. Bhd. is undertaking a satellite development project aimed at supporting strategic needs in communication, data, and earth observation.
This initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing Malaysia’s space technology independence, in line with the country’s aspiration to become a leader in aerospace innovation, digital transformation, and a data-driven economy. The global SpaceTech economy is forecasted to grow to RM 47.5 trillion by 2030, up from RM 1.8 trillion in 2020. The Asia-Pacific region’s space-related investment funding, at RM 198 billion, ranks second after North America and continues to gain momentum.
Through this project, QEW Communications Sdn. Bhd. aims to:
